Teen Lounge

Join us for the most fun and exciting afterschool program for intermediate students around…The Lounge! We have an X-Box 360 and Xbox One, movies, games, a computer lab, playground, homework help and so much more. What are you waiting for? Sign up today! Shuttle service is available for both Serrano and Los Alisos Intermediate Schools. The Lounge follows the SVUSD calendar, observes all school holidays and adjusts program times to accommodate minimum days. The program runs Monday through Friday for the entire school year. No Lounge takes place during summer months. In person pre-registration is required for this program.
Fee: $50 per school year (cash or check only)

Advisory Committee for Teens

Do you want to make a difference in your community? Do you wish there were more things to do in Lake Forest? Then get active in your community and make it happen by joining the A.C.T. Help plan teen activities and excursions, be a part of the webpage design group, volunteer for City events, and be a part of your community. The committee is for high school students and meets twice a month. To register, please submit an A.C.T. application.

“Last Fridays” Lounge Nights

Join us at the end of every month and celebrate Last Fridays! Give your parents a night off and celebrate good times with friends at the Recreation Center and Teen Lounge! There will be video games, dinner and snacks, movie screenings, activities, music and maybe even surprise guest entertainers! Discount is given to participants who pre-register.
Fee: $5/pre-registered – $7/at the door

Seriously Awesome Sitters

Here’s the ultimate babysitter preparation class! Not only will you become certified in Basic First Aid and Adult, Child and Infant CPR, but you’ll also learn how to market your services, safely care for children, make healthy snacks, and entertain kids, so that you’ll be recognized as an awesome sitter who will be asked back again and again! An additional $40 material fee is payable to the instructor in class for training manuals, certification cards, mannequins, supplies, etc. Please bring a self-addressed stamped envelope, pen/pencil, lunch, and an infant-sized doll or Teddy Bear to class.

Band Nights at the Skatepark

Decade of Rock
This marks the tenth year of hosting all-ages shows at the Skatepark. Past bands have included JFA, The Stitches, Smogtown, McRad and a host of other great skate bands. Feel free to skate or watch from inside our viewing area. This is the only all-ages venue for local music in South Orange County. Please check out for latest show news, photos, and event flyers.
