Before & After School Child Care

Beyond the Bell – After School Kid Care program, serving the Big Bear Valley since 1990!

What: Quality before and after school program for Big Bear kids, K-6th grade.
Where: We have two sites! Big Bear Elementary and Baldwin Lane Elementary.
Why: We have a qualified childcare staff who, above all, CARES about your child. We’ll help your child with their homework, give them a healthy snack and then do super fun stuff. We’ve got a fun activity planned every day. Once that activity is done, we’ll do more! Beyond the Bell is peace of mind for you and fun for the kids!
When: Monday through Friday, before school and after school. When school is out, we have a day camp—all summer long and most school holidays. On Thursdays when the kids get out early, we’re here to greet them.
Who can come? All kids throughout the Big Bear Valley. We bus daily from North Shore Elementary and Hope Academy.
Cost: AM Care/$20 per week – PM Care/$52 per week
Is there financial aid? There is! Soroptimist International of Big Bear Valley Inc. has help for working parents. Those that qualify will receive a minimum of 1/2 of the tuition. AM care would then be $10 per week and PM care would be $26 per week.
If you think you might qualify for financial aid, the application can be reviewed online at www.bigbearparks.com. If you wish to apply for the scholarship, you will need to fill out an application and include one of the following with the application: pay stubs, a copy of your W-9, 1099, a current tax return—or a letter from your employer stating your earnings.
Don’t wait! Let our awesome staff help make your life easier!

If you have any questions, please call the Park District office at 909-866-9700.
Register for Beyond the Bell today!
You can even pay from home!
