    Conrad Real Estate

    0
By Rose Wright on August 12, 2014 Home & Design, Homes for Rent, Homes for Sale, Real Estate

Even after 5 decades in business, this family-owned real estate firm grows stronger every year.

Bob Conrad took over the family real estate business from his parents, George and Louise, way back in 1975. He was eventually joined by his wife, Mary Jo, and then by all of his own sons in the running of the company—Jeremy, Bill and Steve. Together, they’ve seen this small beach town grow into a thriving family community, and helped many residents find their places inside it.

They’re definitely experts at what they do. Conrad Realtors, Inc. has served the community for more than 50 years—an amazing accomplishment for any business—consistently building upon their reputation and relationships. They’ve bought and sold a myriad of estates: beach cottages, condos, executive homes, apartment buildings, ocean-view houses, commercial buildings, mixed-use projects and vacant land. In the last few years, they’ve upgraded the entire office, hired two more full-time staff members, refreshed all branding/marketing materials, installed all-new technology and have concentrated on selling more properties in other areas than San Clemente, like Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano and various South County cities.

The thought of buying or selling a home can be daunting—one of the most significant financial and emotional challenges a person can face. “Trust is absolutely essential,” Bill says. “Our personal involvement in all stages of the real estate transaction sets us apart. Our clients count on us to keep them informed and in control, and to make the process as hassle-free as it can be.”

Question & Answer with Conrad Realty

    Q. To what do you attribute decades’ worth of success?
    A.
Hard work, constant upgrades to the company and services we provide to clients, and always being sure to keep customer service a main priority during transactions. If you’ve bought or sold in the past, there are a ton of questions to answer that might be stressful—we try to make it smooth and stress free!

    Q. Family-run businesses can’t always be easy—what’s your secret?
    A.
We get along very well and each of us has our own role in the office. We contribute individually, and that complements the office structure and growth.

    Q. What do you see in the years to come?
    A.
Helping clients through the good and bad markets. We are one of the rare offices to remain strong during recessions, and be there when clients need us most. In the current market, things are constantly changing. We give solid real estate advice and counseling, and constantly differentiate our company compared to the growing competition in the marketplace.
