After 50 years, the family owned and operated real estate firm, Conrad Realtors, Inc. in San Clemente, is still growing and producing business with overwhelming success!
In 1975, Bob Conrad took over the business at an early age from his parents, George and Louise, and was eventually joined by the oldest of his sons Jeremy in 1999. Over the years, the other boys have joined the team with Bill, the youngest son coming on board in 2004 and Steve, the middle son, in 2006. The family has seen this small beach town, filled with surfers and military, grow into a thriving family community. According to Bob, “A large part of the company’s success has simply been staying power. We were also one of the first real estate companies to bring modern ideas to the city and implement a strong marketing plan.” I think another large part of the success of this company, especially over the last 15 years, was the family working together as a team. Groups, teams or partnerships don’t always work well, but for this family it couldn’t work better. Being in business this long is a testament to how they have proven themselves to be some of the best in the business. As a reminder to how thankful they are to the community of San Clemente, what better way to thank the residents, than to throw a huge party for them!
The night of October 24, 2013, Conrad Realtors, Inc. hosted a party for over 350 guests at the Casino San Clemente. Some of the guests invited were past clients, current clients, business partners, family members, friends, and everyone who has continually supported their growing business over the years. It turned out to be a wonderful evening, filled with music, drinks, friends, and laughter. The event was catered by the popular Iva Lee’s restaurant and featured the famous “Timmy Curran Band”, which, later on, added a wonderful touch of ambiance to the evening. There were new faces, familiar faces, young faces and everything in between! A fun- filled evening with great food, music, and friends was one of the best ways to thank the community and the family was thrilled with the turnout.
Overall, the party was for past clients, current clients and everyone who has supported the Conrad Real Estate business which was able to thrive throughout the last 50 years. The Conrad Realtors, Inc. team was so appreciative of everyone who was able to attend and share the evening with them. Being in business for 50 years is a huge accomplishment, and it’s thanks to the City of San Clemente and all of the wonderful people who helped them along the way, that they are a flourishing company today. Their company motto is, “It’s time to expect more…since 1963” and I think the residents here in San Clemente understand more than anyone what that means, after doing business with them.
