South Coast Magazine congratulates Dana Point Mayor Lisa Bartlett in her electoral victory for Supervisor in Orange County’s 5th District.
Lisa is a California native graduating from Westminster High School and earning her Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Cal State Fullerton and a Master’s in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. She’s lived in Dana Point for more than 20 years and served the community since 2006 as a member of the Dana Point City Council and Mayor.
As a member of the city council Lisa served on a multitude of regional boards including: The Board of Directors for the Transportation Corridor Agency, the Ocean Institute, President for the Association of California Cities- Orange County, Past President for the California League of Cities, Orange County Division, Member of the Southern California Edison Government Advisory Panel and Executive Administration Member and Regional Council Member for the Southern California Association of Governments.
Lisa is a Certified PMP (Project Management Professional) and is a licensed Real Estate Broker and principal of Blue Water Realty & Investments. She has extensive business experience in management working for a global computer software company, several law firms, and a project management consulting firm.
As a philanthropist, Lisa gives her time to serve with non-profit organizations such as the Children’s Hospital Queen of Hearts Guild Symphony, the Dana Point Historical Society, the Dana Point Lighthouse Society, and as Honorary Co-Chair for the Dana Point Relay for Life.
Lisa’s breadth of experience in business and community service gives her the foundation to successfully serve the residents as Supervisor of Orange County’s 5th District.
