The San Clemente Junior Lifeguard Program is an ocean and beach safety program for young people ages 9 to 17. Participants receive education and experience in ocean safety, first aid, rescue techniques, body surfing, board surfing, physical fitness, and Marine Safety operations. This fun-filled, three-week program meets just north of the San Clemente Pier. Parents can choose from one of six sessions beginning in June and ending in August. New participants must first pass a mandatory swim test.
Unfortunately, Junior Lifeguard Swim Tests are canceled or on hold until further notice. Please check the website with added swim test dates as soon as they are available.
