Sedona is a true oasis, a vacationer’s paradise in the middle of the Arizona desert. Here, you’ll find resorts and spas, canyons, and red rock formations. Bell Rock and Oak Creek Canyon are great hiking spots, and the dramatic architecture of the Chapel of the Holy Cross is a religious experience in itself. When the sun dips down below the horizon it introduces the best show in Sedona: the night sky.
EXPLORE SEDONA’S NATURAL BEAUTY
Whether seen from the back of a horse following trails forged by Western heroes of the Silver Screen, or from the unique vantage point of a hot air balloon or bright red biplane, without question the awesome beauty of Sedona’s Red Rocks continues to be the greatest attraction of this incredible area. Man has made his contributions to Sedona’s splendor, as well. The Chapel of the Holy Cross, designed by a disciple of Frank Lloyd Wright, sits amongst the Red Rocks, 200 feet above the valley floor. A charming replica of a Mexican village enchants the visitor with tree-shaded cobblestone walkways lined by elegant and distinctive shops. Sedona is truly a perfect “jumping off” spot for those who wish to visit some of the other wonders of North-Central Arizona. The Grand Canyon is only 110 miles north, and the former ghost town of Jerome is nearby as well. Walnut Canyon, Meteor and Sunset Craters, and Montezuma’s Castle and Well are all just a short drive away. Group and custom tours are available for those who wish for a guided experience. Before you explore these uniquely beautiful places, get in tune with Sedona’s environmental ethic by taking the Sedona Cares Pledge and please follow the “Leave No Trace” principles.

TLAQUEPAQUE
The Best Shopping in Sedona
Your unforgettable Sedona experience must include spending time at internationally renowned Tlaquepaque (pronounced T-la-keh-pah-keh), Sedona Arizona’s Arts & Crafts Village, one of the best things to do in Sedona. Nestled beneath the shade of the sycamores on the banks of beautiful Oak Creek in Sedona, Tlaquepaque is the most distinctive Sedona shopping experience to be found in the Southwest. Authentically fashioned after a traditional Mexican village, Tlaquepaque, meaning the “best of everything,” has been a Sedona landmark since the 1970s. Its vine-covered stucco walls, cobble-stoned walkways, and magnificent arched entryways give you the feeling that Tlaquepaque has been here for centuries. Tasteful galleries and unique shops live in harmony with its lush natural environment where giant sycamore trees stand in testimony to the care taken in preserving the timeless beauty of the grounds. It would be hard to find more beautiful surroundings anywhere. Originally conceived as an artist community, Tlaquepaque is a perfect setting to witness gifted Sedona artisans absorbed in their work. It’s not uncommon to venture upon a well-known sculptor working on his or her latest piece right in one of the Tlaquepaque galleries.
