Wild Rivers Waterpark, Southern California’s premier waterpark in the heart of Irvine, kicks off its 2025 Summer season on May 17. The fun is always flowing at Wild Rivers with more than 25 exhilarating water slides and attractions for guests of all ages and thrill levels, premium experiences and new seasonal offerings.
NEW FOR 2025 – MERMAID COVE IMMERSIVE MAKEOVER EXPERIENCE
In partnership with Once Upon an Island, Wild Rivers is proud to introduce Mermaid Cove – an all-new immersive mermaid makeover and retail experience that brings fantasy to life. Launching June 2025, Mermaid Cove brings braiding, glitter tattoos, shimmer freckles, photo ops in a giant clamshell throne, swimmable tails, glam kits, and more — all in a walk-up, open-air grotto designed by one of OC’s most buzzed-about experience brands. Mermaid Splash Packages and private Mermaid Birthday Parties are also available.

Wild Rivers features a diverse ride lineup including body slides, tube rides, and family-friendly attractions ideal for creating unforgettable moments with friends and loved ones. Experience the full effect of aqua-dreneline on the six-story Bora Bora Boomerango or twisting Aquaconda. Guests love chilling out on the scenic Castaway Lazy River, one of the longest Lazy Rivers in California or catching a wave at the Shaka Bay Wavepool.
PREMIUM CABANAS, CELEBRATIONS & GROUP EVENTS
With 56 private cabanas available for rent starting at $199, guests can elevate their waterpark day with a private retreat for groups to escape and relax. Each cabana includes seating for 4 guests, a dedicated server, and access to a specially curated cabana food and drink menu. Special occasions are made easy with the Celebration Package, which includes everything needed for a fun, stress-free birthday or event. Group outings are also fully customizable with discounted tickets and catered picnic options—perfect for schools, companies, and large gatherings.
SIGNATURE FOOD & DRINKS TO SATISFY ANY CRAVING
When it’s time to refuel, several delicious food options are available throughout the park, ranging from grab-and-go favorites to decadent sweet treats. For guests 21 and older, Wild Rivers offers a rotating menu of freshly crafted cocktails and refreshing adult beverages.
LIVE ENTERTAINMENT & SPECIAL EVENTS
Opening weekend kicks off with the Dwight Kennedy Duo playing Live Island Style Caribbean Music at the Wave Pool on May 17 from 11am – 2pm. DJ sets and live entertainment will take place on most weekends throughout the Summer, creating a vibrant atmosphere across the park.

Any-day and Pick Your Day tickets are currently being discounted by $30 and are available now at $44.99. Children 2 and under are free. 2025 Platinum, Gold and Silver Season passes for new guests or returning season pass holders are also available starting at $139.
